Tips for Using
Everything shown has been marbleized with
STEP ONE...
Using a large bucket, fill with cold water and follow instructions for conditioning the water. Apply paint to the surface of the water one drop at a time. As soon as the paint hits the surface, it will begin to spread out and disappears.
Add the next color by placing several drops in different areas of the water surface. Your design is starting to build.
STEP TWO...
Keep adding drops of different colors into the color that just opened. The design will be forming circles of color. Keep adding paint until you have a design that you like. To change your design, using a toothpick carefully move the paint by drawing on the water creating very intricate designs.
STEP THREE...
The item being dipped must be clean and dry, slowly move through the design without stopping. Color is applied when items go into the water.
STEP FOUR...
To remove your decorated item from the water, blow on the surface to move the paint aside so that the original design will not be decorated again when you exit the water. Pull the item out of the water in the area that has been cleared of paint. Keep dipping until all the paint is used.
STEP FIVE...
Remove excess paint from the surface of the water by using a page from the phone book (newspaper leaves ink behind). Wipe across the surface of the water until clean. Using the same water, start building a new design.
Remember you can never repeat the same design. You can use the same colors but the design will always be different.
