Universal^® Publishing Co., Inc.was founded in 1963 by Alfred Glassman. Prior to the publishing of his first Boston & Eastern Massachusetts Atlas, most street maps were of individual towns and salesmen and others traveled with a box of maps in their car. Incorporated in 1985 Universal^® Publishing Company, Inc., has continually improved and updated its maps allowing it to grow into one of the largest publishers and suppliers of maps, travel guides, and atlases in the New England area.

We specialize in street atlases and highway maps. Universal^® Publishing Co., Inc. publishes & distributes four atlases that encompass the state of Massachusetts, one atlas of Rhode Island and one atlas of Southern New Hampshire. We also publish wall maps of Massachusetts. In addition to our own products, we are resellers and distributors of over 700 different maps and atlases, which we sell to over 1000 different retail stores and distributors. While we specialize on the New England area, we also sell Atlases and fold maps of most of the United States and other areas of the world.
